The seven-time “Most Popular Restaurateur in Vienna” is located in Floridsdorf and has been one of Vienna’s top culinary hotspots for 22 years! The multi-award-winning restaurant run by the Pircher family was completely renovated and modernized in 2014/15.
The Pircher family proudly presents the new Leopoldauer Alm, which now features 200 indoor seats as well as 100 seats in the beautiful newly covered beer garden and in our wonderful fountain garden at the back of the Alm.
The XXL restaurant, well-known far beyond our borders, is therefore ready for the future; it’s no coincidence that the Alm is also the favorite spot in Vienna for XXL guru and PRO7/Galileo star Jumbo Schreiner and many other celebrities.
On the menu, you’ll find typical Alm delicacies, such as the legendary “Alm Platter for 2”, the “Almjoschi Burger”, “A Load of Manure”, “The Pitchfork of Terror©®” for 4 or more people, probably the best “Spare Ribs” in the city, as well as a hearty “Brettl Jausn” for in-between meals (in summer!), and the famous Alm “Beef Tartare”! Fresh “Budweiser” and original Munich “Paulaner” are on tap! And for dessert, for all lovers, there’s the “Hob di Liab” homemade warm chocolate cake for 2 people and many other sweet temptations.
All groups and tour buses of up to 100 people are well catered for by us, e.g., with the “Alm Hut Feast”, “Suckling Pig Dinner”, or with a 30-liter beer keg for self-tapping at the table; organizing larger buffets is also no longer a problem!
We also offer a dog water bar at the Alm! We love four-legged friends and are therefore a dog-friendly restaurant.
